The Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) is a new 11 km line, which will run along Finch Avenue West in Toronto and will be fully integrated into the city’s existing transit system. The line will have a total of 18 surface stops, as well as an underground stop at Humber College and an underground interchange station at the TTC’s Finch West underground station.

Mosaic Transit Group (the company selected by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario) has subcontracted SICE to supply the communications systems for the Finch West light rail project in Toronto. SICE is responsible for the supply of the communications network, telephony, intercom, public address, TETRA radio, CCTV, CCTV, alarm centre, timekeeping, access and intrusion control, track intrusion detection system, passenger information system and advertising systems, fully integrated under a new web-based power and communications SCADA developed in-house by SICE.
