The Pūhoi to Warkworth project involves an 18.5km extension of the four-lane Northern Motorway (SH1) from the Johnstone’s Hill tunnels to just north of Warkworth. This is the first phase of the Ara Tūhono – Pūhoi to Wellsford highway, of national significance.
SICE was contracted by the Northern Express Group (NX2) to provide a comprehensive ITS solution, providing the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all ITS systems.
