Occupational risk prevention and road safety

The SICE TyS Group management considers the health and safety of its employees to be vital. Ensuring and maintaining a high level of safety, health and well-being in the workplace, in compliance with applicable legal requirements, is a priority objective that is present in all the actions of the Group companies. The continuous improvement of occupational health and safety management and the prevention of potential harm is an integral part of the management and culture of the SICE TyS Group.

Quality and environmental management

The SICE TyS group identifies compliance with the following six principles as a fundamental requirement for the growth, technological progress and development of its employees:

Environmental commitment

SICE is a voluntary member of the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). To show its environmental commitment and provide transparency, the updated Environmental Statement validated on 09/07/2024 by Bureau Veritas is publicly available to any interested party at the following link Environmental Statement.

The listing of SICE in the EMAS register includes the Head Office and the activities of installation and maintenance of technologies in traffic and transport, environment and energy, telecommunications, and all types of industrial processes.

Energy management

SICE TyS contributes towards a more efficient use of available energy sources and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and other related environmental impacts.

The Management therefore takes responsibility for the Energy Management of the processes and activities performed at the SICE TyS Head Office facilities.

Functional and technical safety

Safety is one of the key aspects of the railway system, as it is essential to ensure the safe transport of passengers and goods. For this reason, SICE Tecnología y Sistemas expresses this commitment through its Security Policy, which also includes any project in other lines of activity that require a safety management process.

Information security is one of the key aspects of an organisation. Given its importance, SICE TyS applies a risk management process to preserves the confidentiality, integrity, availability, traceability and authentication of information assets.
