From 28 to 31 August, SICE will support the ITS Australia Global Summit that will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Global Summit will bring together representatives from Asia-Pacific, Europe, the US and business leaders from all Australian states and territories, marking Australia’s most important international gathering of the year in the ITS sector.
The Summit aims to explore innovative approaches to accelerating smarter, safer, and more sustainable transport solutions for a fast-moving and constantly evolving industry. The programme features technical tours, live demonstrations, networking events, plenary sessions, and workshops for all attendees.
Manuel Gonzalez Arrojo, SICE ANZ’s Managing Director, will be part of this ambitious programme participating as a speaker in Breakout Session 13: Traffic Management Centres and Smart Infrastructure, on August 28 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. During the session, Manuel will discuss the advanced Integrated Operations Management and Control System (IOMCS), designed by SICE, already operating at the WestConnex Motorway Control Centre, recognised as Australia’s most advanced highway control centre.
