SICE has joined the ‘STEAM Alliance for female talent. Girls on a scientific footing’, an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training to foster STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in connection with Arts and Humanities) vocations in girls and young women.
SICE’s adhesion to the STEAM Alliance for Female Talent represents the company’s commitment to the objectives of the Ministry of Education and aims to promote specific initiatives that contribute to shaping an educational and training system that eliminates gender stereotypes associated with certain vocations and professions, that promotes the presence of women in STEAM disciplines from early stages of education and that contributes to eliminating the gender gap in access to these disciplines for our young women.
SICE encourages diversity and equality in its workforce and promotes the presence of women in the organization in a sector such as technology that has historically had a greater male presence.
The company thus ratifies its commitment and collaboration with the promotion of scientific and technical training for girls and the elimination of gender barriers that hinder the access of young women to these studies, in order to encourage the full development of female talent, and its incorporation into the workplace, thus moving towards full equality.
