An accurate buildings and facilities’ maintenance is essential for the proper operation of an airport, since the breakdowns or works to be carried out cannot disrupt terminal services. Consequently, immediate actions and the continuous presence of expert staff are required to solve incidents that may arise.
These factors are the reason why AENA has started up a project that SICE will execute to provide this service, which also includes access controls, parking lots and movement areas at the Valencia airport complex.
With this award, SICE strengthens its leadership in managing airport facilities maintenance contracts, consolidating the transport area as one of the most important reference points.
The services to be provided in every building include:
- Dismantling, demolition, excavation, trenching, etc….
- Masonry, painting, cladding, tiling, false ceilings, leaks, waterproofing, paving, concreting, walls, etc….
- Wood and metal carpentry (iron, aluminum, PVC, etc.). In all kinds of indoor or outdoor elements (doors, windows, counters, furniture, etc.), locksmith, glasswork, fences, etc.
- Drinking water installations (pipes, cut-off valves, etc.) Both inside and outside the buildings.
- Sanitation facilities (sewers, manholes, wells, etc.) Both inside and outside buildings.
- Drinking water, rainwater and sewage systems, etc.
- Auxiliary services (relocation of items, installation of signs, etc.)
- Monitoring of activities carried out by other companies developing works within the civil engineering area and the areas concerned in the project.
