SICE will supply, install and commission Level 1 of the toll system for Phases 2 and 3 of the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense in its 4 mainline toll plazas and 12 auxiliary toll booths.
In November 2021, the company OPCEM (Operadora Circuito Exterior Mexiquense) in charge of the operation of the highway selected SICE Mexico as the toll system integrator for the project to implement Level 1 of the Toll Collection System for Phases 2 and 3 of the highway. The works include the renovation of equipment at lane level of this important highway infrastructure.
The Circuito Exterior Mexiquense highway is 154.9 km. long and runs through 18 municipalities in the State of Mexico, linking the Mexico-Queretaro, Mexico-Pachuca, Peñon-Texcoco and Mexico-Puebla radial highways, ending at the border with the State of Morelos.
The scope of work awarded to SICE includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the Level 1 toll collection system for the 87 total lanes, as well as the development of the interface to communicate this Level 1 with the existing Levels 2 and 3.
This project consolidates SICE as one of the main companies specialized in the implementation of tolling solutions in the country.
