The proposed remote control system, based on SIEMENS systems (SCADA and PLC), will control the system comprising the Terreu Canal, a diversion and pressure pipe, and the Fitas Dam. The remote control system allows the monitoring and remote control of the different systems both from the control centre at Las Fitas dam and from the Ebro SAIH in Zaragoza. The canal modernisation system provides supervision and remote control of the canal, as well as monitoring of the dam and its surveying systems.
